Our team at 1-800-BOARDUP of Central Arkansas was called in to provide emergency services and secure the property. When a home holds this much character and heritage, preserving it becomes more than a job. It becomes a responsibility. We take pride in helping safeguard these irreplaceable pieces of Arkansas’s story.

Our team is honored to have installed the new Safe Haven Baby Box at the North Little Rock Fire Station. The installation process is detailed and precise — from structural inspection to masonry cutting to final placement.

We take pride in leaving the station “like we weren’t there, except for the baby box.”

This is community safety work at its best.

Since the first Baby Box was installed in 2016, “there have been no dead abandoned infants in the state of Indiana.”

Safe Haven Baby Boxes also operate a 24‑hour crisis hotline that has received nearly 4,000 calls nationwide, helping mothers in crisis find safe options and support.

This program saves lives — and now Central Arkansas families have access to this resource.

A Safe Haven Baby Box is a safety device provided under a state’s Safe Haven Law and legally permits a mother in crisis to safely, securely, and anonymously surrender if they are unable to care for their newborn.

These boxes are installed in exterior walls of designated fire stations or hospitals. When a newborn is placed inside, the exterior door locks automatically, and first responders retrieve the baby from inside the building.

This option protects both the infant and the mother, offering safety, anonymity, and immediate medical care.

Central Arkansas now has one of these lifesaving devices, installed at the North Little Rock Fire Department, and we’re proud to have been part of making it happen.

Camp Sunshine gives survivors, both adult and pediatric across the state of Arkansas an opportunity to establish lasting friendships, experience personal growth and develop lifelong memories.
