Summer's around the corner, and while we love those sunny drives, our cars might not be as thrilled. Did you know that prolonged sun exposure can lead to faded paint, cracked dashboards, and even mechanical issues? Here are a few tips from Yates Automotive to keep your ride looking and running like a champ:

1. Park Smart: Whenever possible, park in the shade or use a car cover. Your car will thank you for it!

2. Wax On, Sun Off: A good wax job acts like sunscreen for your car's paint.

3. Check Fluids: High temperatures can cause fluids to evaporate more quickly. Regularly check your coolant, oil, and brake fluid levels to avoid overheating.

4. Protect the Interior: Use sunshades to keep your dashboard and seats from cracking and fading. Plus, it keeps your car cooler!

5. Tire TLC: Hot pavement can be tough on tires. Make sure they're properly inflated.
