C2 Association Strategies (C2) announced it has begun providing association management services for the Landscape Contractors Association MD, DC, VA - LCA, effective April 15, 2024.

The mission of the Landscape Contractors Association MD DC VA, established in 1967, is to advance the success of members and provide a welcoming community for landscape industry professionals. LCA’s members include landscape contractors, landscape designers, landscape architects, and industry suppliers—highly sought after by consumers because of their superior level of expertise and their commitment to stay current on horticultural and landscape best practices. LCA promotes excellence in all facets of the landscape industry by providing education on industry best practices, connecting local green businesses, recognizing exceptional work through the Excellence in Landscape Awards program, and promoting the certification of its members through its Exterior Landscape Technician Certification partnership.

C2 Association Strategies is excited to welcome Rosario Ortiz Davis, MBA, CAE, to our team. Rosario will serve as C2's first Chief Marketing Officer focusing on building strong marketing practices for C2's full and specialized service clients.

Rosario joins C2 from the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), where she served as their Director, Communications & Marketing. She brings experience, serving nonprofit and for-profit organizations, creating marketing plans and programs that strengthen brand awareness and achieve goals for membership, product sales, fundraising, conference attendance, and program participation. Her fluency in English and Spanish brings added value to our clients who serve diverse membership communities.

Prior to her time at IAFC, Rosario served as vice president, marketing and product management for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) where she managed a portfolio of 250 products and 800+ production projects annually.

C2 Association Strategies is excited to welcome Jeanette Brown, MBA, to our team. Jeanette will serve as C2's first Chief Growth Officer focusing on growth opportunities for C2's full and specialized service clients.

Jeanette joins C2 from America's Blood Centers, where she served as their Senior Director, Strategic Marketing and Business Development. Jeanette brings a history of building benefits that members value, driving advocacy initiatives that work, developing messaging that inspires, and delivering communications that break through. She has a proven track record of efficiently managing projects, establishing lasting partnerships, growing organizational memberships, and creating powerful communication/training tools.

Prior to her time at America's Blood Centers, Jeanette supported the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU), INFORMZ, and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA). Jeanette also serves on the board of directors for the Annapolis Jaycees and as a coach and board member for the Special Olympics in Maryland.

C2 Association Strategies, LLC (C2) announced it has begun providing association management services for AphasiaAccess effective January 15, 2024.

Aphasia Access’ mission is to transform services and environments so people with aphasia can participate more fully in life. Aphasia Access supports speech-language pathologists, university professors, and students who serve people with communication disorders, including aphasia, and are committed to bringing healthcare delivery systems into mandated communication access compliance.

Sarah E. Wallace, PhD, CCC-SLP, ASHA-Fellow, President of the Aphasia Access Board of Directors noted, “Our task force conducted a thorough and competitive search and interview process. C2 stood out for their critical understanding of our field and mission, as well as the company culture of “people first”. After meeting Cameron, we found her to be personable, professional, flexible, and creative. Our board is excited about the opportunity to work with C2, and we were impressed that the company has a clear focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. C2 Association Strategies, LLC (C2) announced it will begin providing association management services for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Capital Chapter, effective January 1, 2024.

The mission of the PCMA Capital Chapter is to serve the business events industry by connecting members through advocacy, education, leadership, and volunteerism.

Mary Kreins, CASE, President of the PCMA Capital Chapter Board of Directors noted, “We’re thrilled about our new partnership with C2. Cameron Curtis has designed a dynamic team for the PCMA Capital Chapter who understands the needs of our members, our volunteers and our community to collaborate for continued success of the PCMA Capital Chapter.
