The Olson Group, Ltd. has urgent and immediate contract opportunities for qualified personnel to support state and local hurricane response and recovery operations on the Gulf Coast. OGL is seeking both entry and senior persons with experience in EOC and MAC Operations, Public Assistance, Volunteer and Donations Management, and EMAC Coordination. Candidates should be available for deployment to Florida, Alabama or Mississippi within the next 48 hours and should anticipate an initial assignment of two-to-four weeks or longer. Generous compensation based on experience. Paid travel plus per diem for housing and meals.

OGL's TJ Rippon and Brad Owens supported the Virginia Department of Emergency Management in planning and delivering the Newport News Interstate Winter Weather Traffic Incident Tabletop Exercise. Over 60 participants from Commonwealth and local agencies and private sector partners came together on May 4, 2022 to review their response plans and capabilities.

An Olson Group team (Heather Stem, Andrew Forcucci, and Anthony Mangeri) conducted a COOP seminar for the City of Wilmington sponsored by Delaware Emergency Management Agency. Following the seminar, the OGL team facilitated a tabletop exercise so that participants could discuss how the plans would be implemented in different situations.
