Cultural Exchange- one of the many amazing aspects of the Au Pair Program!

It’s a big, wide world out there, and what a gift it is to open our childrens’ eyes to it! These au pairs from South Africa helped their host children learn about their home country for World Thinking Day this year to share with their Girl Scout troop 🌍 Learning facts about the country, and how to count to 10 in Afrikaans, the girls had so much fun and were fascinated learning from these awesome au pairs! 🥰

Our group enjoyed a hay ride, bonfire, and s’mores at our monthly meeting last night. Privileged to spend time with such a wonderful group of young women each month.

So grateful for my wonderful Host Families and Au Pairs and their kindness and generosity! As a group we were able to donate 7 Welcome Home boxes and hundreds of dollars in Gift Cards to Afghan refugees who have recently arrived to our area ❤️

Getting in the holiday spirit with a group trip to see Santa! Our generous Host Families and Au Pairs also donated food such as pasta, tomato sauce, rice, soups, granola bars, etc. to bring to our local Food Pantry for distribution. Love to see families helping families! ❤️🎅❤️
