The Donald Tietz Charitable Foundation is proud to award a $1,500 grant to support the Algona Public Library's summer internship program. This summer, two interns will help the library provide engaging reading programs, activities, and special events for the community.

“The library appreciates the support offered by the Tietz Foundation for our internship program. We are excited for a summer of celebration through reading, programs, and activities. The interns are an important part of being able to offer a quality summer of fun to our community,” said Sonya Harsha, Adult Librarian.

The Foundation is honored to support programs that encourage learning, literacy, and community engagement for all ages. Be sure to visit the newly renovated library this summer! ☀️
