This week has been full of great events, strong conversations, and a lot of new connections in the community.

One thing we kept hearing again and again?

👉 “We should probably take another look at our cybersecurity…”

And honestly, we get it.

Most organizations are focused on growth, operations, and taking care of their people. Cybersecurity tends to fall into the “we’ll get to it” category… until it suddenly becomes urgent.

The reality is, protecting your business today doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does have to be intentional.

The companies doing it well aren’t perfect. They’re just proactive.

Big takeaway from this week: more leaders are asking the right questions, and that’s a great place to start.

Jon brings more than 28 years of hands-on experience in technology, with a deep and sustained focus on cybersecurity strategy, risk reduction, and proactive defense. Early in his career, Jon served as a network administrator for a Fortune 100 company, where he was responsible for securing and supporting 250+ users across seven offices in five U.S. states, gaining first-hand experience in enterprise-scale security and infrastructure.

In 2010, Jon founded an IT Managed Services Provider, helping organizations strengthen their security posture through layered protection, policy enforcement, and operational resilience. During the challenges of the COVID era, Jon successfully secured and supported a multi-location franchise organization beginning in 2021, delivering consistent, security-first IT services across distributed environments for the past five years.

Jon is also a recognized advocate for cybersecurity awareness and prevention, having taught proactive cybersecurity training to professional groups, including the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). His training emphasizes threat awareness, human risk mitigation, and practical safeguards for today’s evolving threat landscape.

As Chief Solutions Architect at Calysto Group, Jon will lead our efforts in proactive cybersecurity protection, solution architecture, and strategic growth—helping clients stay ahead of emerging threats while building secure, scalable technology environments.
