i2i Technologies

i2i Technologies i2i Technologies helps organizations and people with video communication and collaboration. Our team Everyone has a story.

A story of how they developed the passion for what they do in life. The i2i Technologies story begins in a small, East Texas town. Our Founder and President, Chris Harmon, knew in high school that he wanted to study computer science and engineering, but there were few classes available to him to prepare him for engineering, math, and science. After graduating from college with a degree in computer

science engineering, Chris began his journey in learning about and working with interactive distance learning technologies. Chris began i2i Technologies in 2003 to further the use of video conferencing technologies to provide access to higher level courses for high school students. The team at i2i Technologies shares Chris’ passion for learning and collaborating. Our engineers and designers use their knowledge and mastery of technology to cut through the marketing hype and help solve your organization’s challenges with simple, flexible, and dependable solutions. Today, there are amazing technologies available for creating a variety of experiences for all different kinds of learners. Technology is advancing at a rapid pace and selecting the best solution for your organization has gotten increasingly difficult. Our team of experts continues to explore innovative ways to adapt technology solutions to fit the teaching and learning goals of your organization. Our team is knowledgeable and holds industry certifications from AMX, Crestron, Cisco and Lifesize, among others, in technology applications and infrastructure. Our team also shares knowledge and skills through collaborative leadership in the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).

Not every in-person habit deserves a remote version. Making people navigate an avatar to a tech support area recreated a hassle that was ridiculous.

08/18/2026

Presenting and running the tech at the same time isn’t easy. On-site events solved this with a dedicated crew. Remote events need the same thinking.

Instead of raised hands and rambling questions, this group used a QR code for the audience to submit questions. It kept things on schedule and avoided the awkward moments live Q&A tends to create.

The lag that once made video calls feel like a walkie-talkie is gone. Audio and video are good enough now that conversations flow the way they would in person.

08/06/2026

The rule is the same whether you’re in a room or on a screen. Attention belongs on whoever is speaking, not the side conversation.

Looks busy. Is it actually work? And that new feature request probably won’t fix what’s really broken.
