🚨 Pennsylvania E-Bike & Motorized Scooter Safety Reminder 🚨
Parents and riders, please take a moment to understand the rules before getting on the road.
In Pennsylvania, e-bikes/pedalcycles with electric assist may be treated like bicycles, but riders must be at least 16 years old to operate one. To qualify, the e-bike must have operable pedals, meet weight and motor limits, and follow applicable road rules.
Motorized scooters are different. Many motorized scooters do not meet Pennsylvania’s safety, inspection, registration, or titling requirements, which can make them unlawful to operate on public roadways or sidewalks depending on the device and local rules.
At Injury Consultant Group, we believe safety starts with awareness. Talk to your children, protect your family, and know the law before riding.
