As I was cleaning up my office today, I found this picture. If you've never had the chance to meet him, this is our founder John Stauffenger. He started Aid Pest Control in 1964. I remember all of our talks, about how he wanted to do more than what he was doing at the time. He had a vision. So he would work all night in the shop he was employed at, come home and sleep four hours in the garage, then go out and try to build his customers for his pest control company. I still have his old books where you can see this company growing every year. He built this company on hard work, dedication, loyalty, trust and a genuine care of his customers. He absolutely loved being at work and never wanted to retire. He told me to make sure you find a job in life that you are excited to wake up and go to! He taught me everything he knew about business, respect, honesty, and how far these things alone can take you. Always positive. he was the best kind of person to be around. He taught me that there are disappointments in life, and how to pick myself up and keep going. I am who I am today because of him. He was a wonderful businessman, father, husband, brother, son, papa and friend. As his daughter, I am absolutely honored to keep his legacy going. He is missed every single day by many! And as he was, we are very thankful for all of our wonderful customers throughout the years.
Thank you all!
Jen
