The Lexington Township Fire Department and the Alliance Fire Department responded to reports of a plane crash on Route 225. Upon arrival, emergency crews located a Cessna aircraft positioned upright along the roadside. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, has been transported to the hospital for medical attention. The Stark County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are currently on-site. The roadway will be reopened following the conclusion of the investigation.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Marlboro Fire Department and community. Many of our members had the privilege of working with and learning from Tom, and his presence will be greatly missed by all. We honor the legacy of Chief Linerode.

View Thomas E. Linerode's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.
