Yesterday, 07/30/2026 at approximately 0940 hours Cars N Quads Towing received a call from Mayle Services about scrap metal. Mayle Services was called by a construction company on Everhard road in North Canton and asked if he wanted scrap, after some conversation Mayle Services owner Tyler Mayle realized that his equipment was not sufficient enough to haul the scrap. So they called us. We then received a call at 0950 hours from the construction company's foreman and got the address and additional information. At approximately 1025 hours Truck 1 was on the move with our 16 foot trailer.

Truck 1 arrived at the location at approximately 1100 hours. After some careful measurements we realized the beam was 12 feet long by 9 feet wide, WAY OVER our trailer's width. After some careful loading we got the beam on the trailer and applied our Oversized Load Banners and flags as required by ORC Section 4513.34.

We took the beam to Carpenter Metal Solutions and had a laugh because our total width was 10 foot 2 inches which was way wider than their gate for the scale. So we had to wait on the crane to come unload us from the main lot and set just the beam on the scale. After some bets were made about the weight, the total weight was around 1,120 pounds! Way lighter than everyone thought 😂.

Friday, July 24th Cars N Quads Towing received a call for an abandoned 2010 Dodge Charger on the side of State Route 62 near Beech Street. Truck 1 arrived with Es**rt 1 and waited for the Ohio State Highway Patrol to arrive to help divert traffic. Thank you to everyone who helped keep our workers safe during the job.
