🚫 Ditch the Punitive “Why” Questions: Asking "Why did you do that?" instantly triggers a defensive, "fight or flight" response in your child. Focus on understanding, not accusing.

❤️ Create Emotional Safety at Home: Parenting from fear and control breaks connection and can lead to secrecy. A safe home environment is the foundation for a healthy relationship.
