International Children’s Day – June 1, 2026 🌿

Big sister teaching little sister how to swim…

The last few times, I got into the pool with Rosie, and she would hold on to me tightly and refuse to swim on her own.

Today, I stayed on the side and let the two girls swim by themselves.

And guess what?

She started paddling around like a little puppy. 🐶💦

It made me realize that maybe we don’t always need to stay so close.

Sometimes, when we let our children go just a little, they become stronger than we think.

filling the air with the sweetest fragrance.

Some things in life are like that too.

They grow silently.

One thing I’ve learned about flowers…
they never rush to bloom.
They simply grow quietly, trust the season, and open when the time is right.

Maybe life is the same for us too.

Not every season is meant for fast results.
Some seasons are for healing.
For learning.
For becoming.

So if things feel slow right now, don’t be discouraged.

Found this in my daughter’s backpack today, and it brought back so many memories of being a kid.

We were so innocent and pure back then. Just little notes, little crushes, and simple feelings that made life feel magical.

THE QUEST

Once upon a time, I was at school and we had a new kid. Her name is Cookie. She was so pretty.

Then I passed her a note that said:

“You’re pretty. I have a big crush on you. Do you like me?”

A. Not at all
B. Kind of
C. A lot

I passed the note to her, and then she passed it back.

When she passed me back the note, she wrote something. What it said was:

“D. I like you too.”

And then I wrote:

“This is not a joke, is it?”

I passed it to her. She wrote:

“No, it is not a joke. I have a big crush on you.”

And we kept writing until the teacher saw us passing notes.

The older I get, the more I realize…
real luxury is not always expensive things.

It’s having time.

Time to make breakfast slowly.
Time to sit with your thoughts.
Time to be present with your children.
Time to take care of yourself without feeling rushed all the time.

Happy Thursday 🌿

Every new day is not just another day to live.
It’s another chance to begin again — a little better than yesterday.

Maybe yesterday felt exhausting.
Maybe there were things that didn’t go as planned.
Pressure, worries, or questions still waiting for answers.

But every morning carries a beautiful reminder:
life is still giving us one more opportunity.

A new source of energy.
A new perspective.
A new choice.

You don’t have to change your whole life in a single day.
If today you can slow down a little, feel a little more peaceful, and take one small step toward the life you truly want… that is already meaningful enough.
