250 Years Young. 🇺🇸
As our nation celebrates its 250th birthday, we're reflecting on the incredible progress that's been made—not just in America, but in America's workplaces.
In the span of just 250 years, we've witnessed transformational change.
We've moved from a time when slavery existed and child labor was commonplace to workplaces built on principles of human dignity, equal opportunity, and employee protections. We've established workplace safety standards, expanded civil rights, prohibited discrimination and harassment, protected employees with disabilities, created family and medical leave rights, strengthened military leave protections, and continued working toward workplaces where every individual has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.
The modern workplace is vastly different than it was even a generation ago.
Organizations increasingly recognize that their greatest competitive advantage isn't technology or facilities—it's people. We know that respectful leadership, healthy workplace cultures, employee well-being, and opportunities for growth don't just create better places to work; they create stronger businesses.
