ACPG Statement: The Alpine Community Planning Group was formed for the purpose of advising and assisting the Director of Planning, the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors in the preparation, amendment and implementation of community and sub-regional plans. The Alpine Community Planning Group is an advisory body only.
E. Open Discussion: Opportunity for members of the public to speak to the ACPG on any subject matter within the ACPG’s jurisdiction that is not on the posted agenda.

1. The County of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department is recirculating sections of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for public review for the Alpine County Park Project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act. The recirculated sections of the EIR along with supporting documents, together referred to as the 2026 Recirculated Draft EIR, can be accessed through the County Parks website by following this link:

Written comments regarding the 2026 Recirculated Draft EIR must be received no later than September 14, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Comments should be emailed to [email protected] Staff from the County of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department will be on hand to make a presentation and answer questions. The group may make a recommendation to the County based on the 2026 Recirculated Draft EIR. Presentation, Discussion & Action
