I spent a few hours with a client yesterday and our discussion centered around parenting.
One nugget I'd like to share with you is time management. Please remember that children (and many of us adults) have a short attention span. That said, if you are working with your child at home, divide activities in sections. The older the child, the longer she may be able to sit still and concentrate. Not so for a four-year old. Make sure you are monitoring the activity as well as his level of interest and engagement during the activity. Make break time fun and transition him back to the day's activities. Remember, your enthusiasm rubs off, so don't approach work as a chore or a bore. Enjoy the article!
