The Renzaglia Family welcomes you to Alto Vineyards and invites you to taste some of the finest wines produced in the United States. Our family owned winery and vineyard is located in the foothills of the beautiful Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. Our second tasting room in Champaign, Illinois, not far from the University of Illinois campus, opened in December of 2001. Since our first vintage in 1988, our wines have won numerous medals in both national and international wine competitions. Our family takes great pride in growing high quality grapes and producing award winning wines.

Join us at Alto Vineyards on Sunday, November 8th as we blend w**e, painting, and artistry with a guided experience by The Pour Effect 🍷

The experience begins with guided instruction while guests experience a w**e pour paired with one of Lisa’s Signature W**e Paints. Afterward, guests paint onto professionally pre-drawn designs, so they can enjoy the experience without having to focus on sketching their own canvas. Each guest receives two companion works of art, a professionally designed 8x10 full scene, and a 5x7 close-up enhancement that is paired with the imagery in the larger canvas. These are intentionally designed to be interchangeable, so that guests who attend multiple events can build a rotating collection of artwork that changes throughout the year.

This session at Alto Vineyards includes a curated w**e pour, along with all w**e paints, materials, and professional instruction throughout the 2-hour experience.

During our Friends of the Shawnee National Forest Stewardship Celebration this weekend, the kitchen at Alto Vineyards is preparing some of our favorite dishes for this special occasion.

Our menu will include our Black Bean Soup with cornbread, along with Nonna's chicken cacciatore on a bed of rice, and both pair perfectly with your favorite Alto Vineyards w**e 🍷

And you don't have to attend our event to enjoy these weekend specials, anyone and everyone is welcome to stop in and spend some time at the vineyard this Saturday! We look forward to sharing good food and great company this weekend as we celebrate our local forests 🌳

This Saturday, you're invited to celebrate the 16th anniversary of The Friends of the Shawnee National Forest at Alto Vineyards! 🎉

Join us for a fantastic afternoon filled with great food, good company, and live music performances as we raise a glass to the great work that The Friends of the Shawnee National Forest do throughout Southern Illinois. This year, we're taking a look at the importance of practicing "Stewardship at Work", and how we can continue to show up for one another and our natural resources.

Enjoy a menu consisting of fresh beyond burgers with all the fixings, homestyle chili, and Alto's famous chicken cacciatore on rice while the Swamp Tigers give a show-stopping performance all afternoon.

General admission tickets are $10. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15.
