After serving our community for nearly 40 years at Harman Auction Center in Shipman, Illinois and Hilltop Auction & Banquet Center in Alton, Illinois for 7 years, we have made the decision to consolidate our auction operations to one location.
Moving forward, all auctions will be conducted exclusively at Harman Auction Center in Shipman, Illinois, which was established in 1989 and offers 4 acres under roof. By operating from a single location, we believe we can better serve our consignors and buyers while continuing to provide the same great service you have come to expect from our team.
While we will certainly miss our time at Hilltop, we are excited to share that the Hilltop location will become the future main office of Tarrant & Harman Real Estate and Auction Company, with their transition planned for 2026 or early 2027.
We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and look forward to welcoming you to our Shipman location.

We accept items every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 12-4pm. Auctions are held EVERY Tuesday at 4:30pm. We are closed the months of January & July.
