Jessica Martin, licensed school psychologist and dental practice co-owner, helps healthcare professionals take their businesses to the next level by enhancing patient experience, streamlining systems, and empowering teams to grow and succeed. At Martin Management, I help healthcare practices of all kinds take their business to the next level—through exceptional patient experiences, streamlined sys

tems, and a deep understanding of what patients truly need. As both a school psychologist and co-owner of a successful dental spa, I discovered how powerful it is to blend what patients need with what they want. That’s the magic behind the dental spa model—an environment that delivers high-quality care while reducing anxiety and creating an experience patients actually look forward to. At Martin Management, I teach practices how to tap into the psychology of healthcare—whether it’s helping dental patients with anxiety and past trauma, or improving communication and flow in any healthcare setting. The goal is simple: help your practice grow with patients who value your care, trust your team, and keep coming back—not just because they need to, but because they want to. If you're ready to level up the way you do business, I’d love to help.

Ever feel like your front office spends the whole day putting out fires? By 5pm everyone’s exhausted, patients feel the stress, and your team is still playing catch-up.

I see this all the time in healthcare practices: great people working hard, but systems that make every day harder than it needs to be.

With the right office optimization, things start to feel lighter. Better flow, less chaos, smoother patient experiences, and a team that can finally get ahead instead of constantly reacting.

If your front office feels stuck in survival mode, let’s talk:

What most people see is the patient care.

What they don't see is the mountain of work that happens before the patient arrives and long after they leave.

Insurance issues.
Payroll.
Hiring.
Team concerns.
Compliance.
Marketing.
Training.
Policies.
Vendor calls.
Equipment problems.
Financial reports.
Emails.
And the never-ending stack of things that need your attention.

Many healthcare business owners spend their days caring for others and their evenings trying to catch up on everything else.

The challenge isn't usually a lack of effort. It's that the workload eventually becomes bigger than one person can reasonably manage.

When the pile gets overwhelming, we often fall into three traps:
• We try to do everything ourselves.
• We struggle to stay organized.
• We spend time on urgent tasks instead of important ones.

The result? Long hours, decision fatigue, and feeling like you're always behind.

If this binder full of papers feels familiar, you're not alone.

Sometimes the next level of growth isn't about working harder. It's about building better systems, delegating effectively, and getting crystal clear on what truly deserves your attention.

Healthcare is hard enough. Running the business behind it shouldn't require carrying the entire stack alone.

One of the biggest contributors to my business growth has been having a strong community to grow alongside. Networking has opened doors, created meaningful collaborations, sparked referrals, and connected me with incredible people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Today I was honored to win the GOAT award at a local networking meeting for best commercial, and moments like that are such a reminder of the power of showing up consistently and sharing what you do with confidence and authenticity.

If you’re building a business and not networking, you are likely missing out on opportunities, relationships, and support that can completely change the trajectory of your growth. Community matters. Connection matters. And business is a whole lot more fun when you don’t build it alone!

A healthcare consultant, licensed psychologist, and sunshine enthusiast ☀️

I work with healthcare practices that want things to feel a little more grounded - less chaotic, more intentional.

My background as a school psychologist and co-owner of a dental spa shaped how I see practice ownership. It’s about people, communication, and how the day actually feels when you’re living it.

Now I spend my time helping teams simplify operations, improve patient experience, and build practices that feel more sustainable to run.

And when I’m not doing that, you’ll usually find me outside in the sun or with a good book somewhere quiet.

Low reimbursements. Constant changes. Administrative friction that takes time away from patient care.

Most practice owners stay in insurance because the transition feels overwhelming.

➡️ But with a clear plan, patient communication that makes sense, and systems that support your team, that shift becomes much more manageable than people expect.

If you’re thinking about making a change, let’s talk it through:

Most practices have small gaps that add up.

❌ A missed follow-up here.
❌ A confusing handoff there.
❌ A patient communication that didn’t quite land.

On their own, they don’t seem like much. But together, they affect trust, revenue, and flow more than most people realize.

This Mini Systems Audit helps you step back and see those patterns clearly, so you can make simple, targeted improvements instead of guessing where to start.

The patient experience is built in small moments. How they’re greeted. How things are explained. How calm or rushed the environment feels.

When those moments are intentional, everything changes.

✔️ Patients feel more at ease.
✔️ Teams feel more confident.
✔️ Everything feels more human.

That’s what I love helping practices build - better experiences for everyone in the room.
