It is with heavy hearts that we ask for thoughts and prayers for a family and really an entire community as they lost a great man yesterday.
A father a husband a uncle a pap a brother a in law and an amazing part of this tiny Midwest community passed unexpectedly yesterday. We were at the job site on mother's day and this kind soul walked over sat on the porch and "hey Matthew take a break and sit with me" as he slapped the porch beside him and as I felt guilty for sitting while my crew was still hard at work he opened up to me saying that he hear my and my wife's phone conversation and he could tell we were each other's everything he then leaned over and quietly says "I've been with that girl there over 50 years and she's still the best looking girl I know". "He then said I won't stop loving her until I die." We both made jokes on which one of us would pass first and I went back to cutting.
You know I highly doubt he stopped loving her even now❤️❤️❤️
