1.5" Select Red Oak, stained Jacobean, 2 coats of Loba Hybrid, 1 coat Loba Duo. This project consisted of 50 solid red oak stair treads, 60 white primed veneer risers, and 60ft of patch work for missing flooring. We refinished 800 square feet of very distraught 1.5" red oak flooring that was original to the very old property. We also assisted with the staining and finishing of newel posts and hand railings throughout the home.

3.25" × 3/4" solid #1 Red Birch, Dark Walnut stain, water based finish. These customers had a non load bearing wall and large fireplace removed from the kitchen and living room areas. This is a very old building in downtown Iowa City. The owner wanted to save and preserve the original subflooring to showcase the age of the building. Reclaimed materials from a farmhouse near Norway, a farmhouse near Manchester, and a farmhouse in Kirksville,MO were all necessary to patch and repair missing areas of the original floor. This floor is natural, no stain color added, and with a commercial grade water based finish. This floor was originally a prefinished Ash floor that the customer installed themselves decades ago. We were tasked with determing just the right mill to match their existing wood as well as lacing the new raw flooring into the existing floor.
