Happy Birthday 🥳to my best friend, my husband, my better half , and the one I’m so thankful God chose for me.

I know Brandon would want his Dad celebrated BIG today. I can only imagine him in Heaven smiling and saying, “That’s my Dad.” 🥰

Too good not to post

One of the last dreams I had of Brandon, he tells me..

“Mom, God don’t want you to lose..all of this isn’t for nothing..the OIL on your life didn’t come from what you think you lost, The Lord had already placed an anointing on you way before the crushing. Your oil comes from heaven, God is the source. Trust him in the overflow.” My Bubba🧡

Well a few months ago we gathered for our “ENCOUNTER” group and as we were preparing for Worship.. I told the girls.. ‘We are going to sing Shout to The Lord’ I also told them I haven’t heard this song since Brandon’s service but I know that I will receive healing from it so I don’t have a choice.

Shout to The Lord was one of Brandon’s favorites since 1995..it was our battle song for 24 years, and he would sing it with all of his heart and soul.

His favorite part was..’Nothing compares to the promise I have in you’… oh the miracles we encountered while worshipping to this song were all tremendous.

When I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to sing this song, I was like I can’t even listen to it much less sing any of it.

He told me it’s ok…sing it while broken and trust me. I discovered something deeper.
I don’t have to hide the tears to carry his presence. I don’t have to pretend the crushing didn’t hurt.

I learned how to trust him when I couldn’t understand..I learned how to recognize the brokenhearted because I know what a broken heart feels like.

I was obedient because it wasn’t only about me..
What I pour upon you is not only for you. There will be people who can hear ME through your story because you were willing to keep loving ME in the middle of yours.

Healing came.. and not only for me that day, for others also.
I’m thankful for all who were there and prayed for me.

It was a beautiful moment for me and God renewed every part of me.

I can now listen to this song and I feel whole. Thank you Lord for never leaving me even when I’m broken.

God is in every detail that concerns YOU, even if you’re broken, he still uses YOU.

Every year on Brandon’s birthday, we choose a random child and buy them a brand-new pair of shoes at Kids Footlocker. It’s a beautiful moment to get to share Brandon to a complete stranger.

Your legacy keeps walking, Bubba. Hallelujah.🧡

My good friend and owner of Amarillo Signs, Anthony Puente, did an incredible job creating and adorning the walls of our current north entrance with larger-than-life banners of the new architectural plans.
