Today held beauty and light and healing and joy and peace and thankfulness. I had a moment in a field painting completely alone. My only accompaniment was the gentle breeze and the bees buzzing curiously around my painting. (maybe they were artists?)

This trip has healed so many wounds from the past two years of illness and pain and fear. The joy I see in others, the camaraderie with fellow like minded friends reveling in the magic of this place? It’s indescribable. Truly. You need to experience it for yourselves. For healing. For joy. For peace.

I’m so overjoyed to find this special place and to begin a friendship with the incredible hosts of I’ll be back!!

What a dream of a day. A special visit to beautiful space, a picnic with gorgeous wine and plein air painting by the river, and then another evening painting session (with all of our newly purchased Girault) back at home base at - Magnifique!!
