Hey y'all, a late outage update on the social media front, our apologies!

The storms last night knocked out a couple of towers in the network. We have teams working on it, and we're expecting a 1 PM final repair job.

Could be a little sooner, but lightning fried some gear so timetables won't be exact.

Thanks for your patience, and again, our apologies for the slow post today on this.

Outage Update - Final

Hey y'all, one last update, and we'll keep this one short.

We're 100% stable again. Thank you for the patience, the kind words, and every phone call and email along the way. Our team felt all of it, and it made a hard week easier.

On credits for the downtime: we'll be emailing account holders directly with all the details, so keep an eye on your inbox. Handling it by email keeps everything tied to your account and gets you an answer faster than we could manage in the comments here.

If your service still isn't acting right, give us a call and we'll get on it.

Outage Resolution/Update - 7 PM (7/15)

Hey y'all, we washed out our other updates so they wouldn't bury our latest update on the cyberattack and outage.

First, again, our apologies for the lack of reliability over the last 24 hours. Our team has been at it this entire time, and we appreciate you guys voicing your concerns, complaints, and support.

As of this morning, the cyberattack was contained, hence the too optimistic post around 11 AM.

After the attacks were contained, we ran into second-order effects on our network, the result of pushing something into our network so quickly. This has now been stabilized as well, BUT, our bandwidth to you guys is currently limited. A fix for this is also in the works and could be finalized within the next few hours. Depending on how long it takes, it could be sometime late tonight or early tomorrow morning. We'll update again once it's truly back to 100%.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Panhandle. ☘️

Fun fact: there's a town called Shamrock about a hundred miles east of us on I-40. They've been throwing one of the best St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Texas for decades. Parade, rodeo, the whole deal. If you've never been, it's worth the drive.

As for us, we're doing what we do every day. Keeping the Panhandle connected with fast, reliable internet. No blarney, just good service from people who live here too.
