We had an awesome referee clinic with a representative from North Texas Soccer who came out to train our new referees and help prepare them for the upcoming season! 🙌

Our returning referees also got a great refresher to sharpen their skills, review rules, and make sure everyone is ready to hit the field this fall. 🥅⚽️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, learned, refreshed, and helped us continue to grow a strong referee program! We’re officially getting Fall 2026 underway! 💪🔥

Referee Registration Is Open!

Be on the fields opening weekend—start earning money while having fun!

Becoming a referee is a two-part process, and registration is now open for 2026 and 2027

How to Become a Referee

Part 1 – Online Lessons
Part 2 – In-Person Clinic
You may attend any clinic that fits your location and schedule.

Requirements & Cost
• Minimum Age: 13 years old
• Cost: $80 (includes both Part 1 and Part 2)
• Badge Validity: A 2026 badge allows you to referee all of 2026

Important Information
• Part 1 must be completed in full before selecting an in-person
clinic
• Online lesson length:
• Ages 17 & under: 6.5 hours
• Ages 18 & older: 8 hours
• Complete Part 1 within a reasonable time after registering so you don’t miss:
• A clinic near you
• The start of the season

How to Register

3. Select Entry USSF Referee – Never Been a USSF Referee Before
4. Select Part 1 of 2 – Referee Online Lessons (click “info” to register)
5. Create a Member Account
6. Register and pay $80
7. Complete the online lesson
8. Select an in-person clinic

Join Amarillo Soccer Association for another exciting season of fun, teamwork, skill development, and competition!

Whether your child is new to soccer or a returning player, we have a place for everyone.

✅ New and returning players welcome
✅ Full player kit included (jersey, shorts, and socks) for use during both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons

‼️ IMPORTANT AGE GROUP UPDATE ‼️

Beginning with the 2026–2027 soccer season, youth soccer organizations across the country will transition to a school-year age grouping system with an August 1–July 31 cutoff date. This change is designed to better align players with their classmates and grade levels.
As we prepare for the upcoming season, please review the updated age group chart attached below and watch for registration details coming soon. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for all players and families.

📧 Emails with additional information will also be sent directly to previous ASA participants to help ensure everyone stays informed.

🏆 The 29th Annual Skip Ferrell 3v3 Tournament was a huge success! 🏆

We were proud to welcome 74 teams from across the region for an incredible day of soccer, competition, and fun.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the players, coaches, parents, referees, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped make this year’s tournament another memorable event. Your dedication and enthusiasm are what make this tournament special year after year.

We appreciate everyone who participated and helped continue the tradition of the Skip Ferrell 3v3 Tournament. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
