Just a friendly reminder that Amelia Print + Design will be closed starting today June 5 through June 15 while we take some time away to enjoy a family vacation.

Messages, emails, estimates, and new project inquiries received during our closure will be answered when we return beginning June 16.

Think About it Thursday!

Not all file types are created equal, and the “best” file really depends on what we’re printing or designing!

Here’s a quick breakdown:

PNG files with transparent backgrounds are great for:
- Die cut stickers
- T-shirt printing
- Logos being added into designs
- Anything that needs a clean cutout without a white box background

Vector files like AI, EPS, SVG, and high-quality PDFs work best for:
- Large format printing
- Logo design
- Banners
- Signs
- Professional print projects that may need resizing

JPG files are usually best for:
- Social media graphics
- Website images
- Digital content
- Photos

Using the correct file type helps ensure cleaner printing, better quality, and smoother production overall.

What are We Workin on Wednesday!

This week we are working overtime getting as many projects as we can wrapped up before heading out for a much needed break for our family vacation! We're just highlighting a few today, but the printers have been rolling, we've been designing our butts off, working on everything from business cards and wedding invitations to stickers and banners!

Phew, it's been a busy one! We appreciate you all so much and to everyone who is waiting patiently for their order to be finished when we get back - thank you!!

Hey friends!

We’ve been a little quiet this week because we have been prepping our space for a real game changer. This beauty prints at the speed of light, folds, hole punches, staples, binds and might even make breakfast if you ask nicely. So pumped to have this beauty in the shop! ❤️

New Equipment Alert!

We are adding this new (to us) brochure folder to the print shop! So far we have been folding them all by hand 😬 and my hands are so very thankful for this new machine!

As many of us head into this extended weekend with cookouts, family gatherings, trips to the lake or beach, and time spent with the people we love, we also want to pause and remember the true meaning behind Memorial Day.

This holiday is more than just the unofficial start of summer. It is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The freedoms we enjoy every day, the ability to gather, celebrate, build businesses, raise families, and live our lives freely, came at a cost that many families know all too well.

While we hope everyone enjoys their weekend, we also encourage you to take a few quiet moments for reflection. Say a prayer. Share a memory. Fly your flag. Sit in silence for just a moment and remember those who laid down their lives protecting the freedoms we often take for granted.

Today and every day, we remember and honor the fallen. 🇺🇸
