Ever wonder where your trash goes after the truck leaves? Take a look inside AGER’s transfer station! The trash pile is looking a little small this morning, the trash trucks haven’t returned to dump yet. Enjoy the extra floor space while it lasts!
Collected waste comes here before being loaded into larger trailers for transport to surrounding landfills. Brandon Miller, our equipment operator, loads approximately 4–5 semi-trailer loads a day and hauls approximately 3–4 loads daily.
Keeping waste moving helps keep odors down, too. Less trash sitting in the building = less smell!
Ask our crew, and they’ll tell you that you eventually get accustomed to the smell… until deer season. NOTHING can prepare your nose for deer season! That’s why AGER requires deer processors to use lime in their dumpsters as part of our odor-control practices. Our noses appreciate the effort!
Behind every pickup is a hardworking crew keeping waste moving and our communities cleaner.
