Client Spotlight: Integrity Mental Health
📍 Eau Claire, Wisconsin
đź’Ľ Mental Health Clinic - Private Practice

Meet Kelly Swartos, Owner and Clinician at Integrity Mental Health. Kelly's clinic focuses on clients with a variety of needs including but not limited to; Adjustment disorders, Life transitions, Postpartum depression, Grief & loss, Anticipatory grief, and Sports/performance-related anxiety.

I love working with Kelly because she always brings a grounded perspective to the conversation. I know she brings this skill to her client sessions as well!

Kelly has trusted me to design her website & logo, and build her clinic handbook. I'm grateful to continue working with Integrity Mental Health in 2027 and excited to see what the next year brings for their business.

One of the clinics I have the privilege of working with is hiring! 🎉

Embrace & Empower Mental Health is my first Minnesota-based client, and the culture their team is building is truly incredible. They are deeply committed to supporting both their clients and their clinicians, and it shows in the way they lead and grow their team.

If you or someone you know is looking for a therapist role in Minnesota, I highly encourage you to check out Lori’s open positions and learn more about the work they’re doing.

Opportunities like this don’t come around every day, please feel free to share with your network! 💙

Learning never stops.

This week I’m taking time to pause and grow alongside some of my incredible female clients at the Women Leading Wisconsin Conference.

Today’s focus was on building adaptability and learning how to use change as fuel rather than resistance. A skill that is critical for the success and resilience of the leaders I work with every day.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring new insights back to the organizations I support. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings!

I love learning with my clients!

Many clients have been asking about Google reviews lately, and for mental health clinics, it’s not as simple as “just ask your clients.”

In my newest blog post, I’m breaking down:

✔️ How to ethically increase your online reviews
✔️ What you can do when you can’t directly solicit clients
✔️ How to strengthen your online presence without compromising client rights
✔️ A practical system that protects both your reputation and your integrity

In behavioral health, ethics aren’t optional; they’re foundational. The good news? You can grow your visibility and honor client confidentiality at the same time.

If reviews have felt confusing, risky, or off-limits… this post is for you.

Did you know that the Therapist Code of Ethics recently clarified regulations for asking clients for online reviews, i.e., Google reviews? Clinics cannot directly ask clients for reviews online. When you take a moment to think about it, that makes sense. There are power dynamics in play when we prov...

What’s the number one thing owners can do to ensure their staff culture is healthy?

Here’s a hint:
It’s not pizza parties.
It’s not team-building days.
It’s not a new mission statement on the wall.

A healthy culture starts with employer responsibility.

In my newest blog post, I break down the role leadership plays in shaping workplace culture and why owners set the emotional, ethical, and operational tone, whether they realize it or not.

If you’re an owner or leader who truly wants a strong, stable, values-driven team… this one is for you.

Let me know your biggest takeaway once you’ve read it. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Your culture starts at the top. The easiest way to make sure your culture is healthy is to genuinely care about your staff. I don't mean that you have to be best friends with the people you hire. I also don't mean that you need to be involved in their personal lives on any level. Maintaining boundar...

🌱 Culture Building Tip

Culture is built in the small, daily moments. Not the annual retreat.

If you want to strengthen your team culture, start with this simple habit:
👉 Publicly recognize one team member every week for a specific behavior that reflects your values.

Not “great job.”
Not “thanks for helping.”

Be specific:
“Thank you for staying late to support that family. Your commitment to accessibility reflects exactly who we say we are.”

Specific recognition reinforces expectations, builds morale, and teaches others what “good” looks like.

Culture isn’t what you say in your handbook.
It’s what you consistently notice and reinforce.
