River Valley Veterans Network

Amazing evening of new Veterans meeting with community businesses...

Someone asked what is the purpose of the RVVN:

To educate companies who employ or seek Veteran about the skill sets pf veterans and learning what they can do to support those who have served - including Spouses of Veterans....

Veterans who do not want their sister or brother to become a government statistic.

Veterans, guard/reserve, spouses, family seeking employment opportunities...

Brothers and Sisters gathering to support each other.

That simple...

If you are a militarily-affiliated individual - that is a technical term, but if you put on the uniform, come on down..

If you are a company that employs the military-affiliated individual.. please come and share with the group....

Take care and check in on a Sister or Brother today!!

Thank you to our sponsors Magic Matt's Cleaning & Visiting Angels Ames, IA as well as our Home sponsor Torrent Brewing Company!

Sharing with the group... Great opportunity available...

The U.S. DOT has launched this new initiative and website to fast track more Veterans into the trucking industry. Iowa has been an early adopted of many of these things laid out in this initiative to include waiving driving and written tests. But this website is pretty thorough and includes a lot of good information that can be shared with Veteran customers.
