Explore Disc Golf is a full-service disc golf design-build firm with a focus on “turning the course into a classroom.” Owned and operated by Brian Giggey (MLA) and Zeena Hutchinson (BLA), our offices are located in Amherst, MA. With both owners highly trained within the fields of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, Explore Disc Golf focuses on using the disc golf course as a framework to

educate the public about the sport and the restorative benefits of nature. Explore Disc Golf has the endorsement of the game’s leading manufacturer, Innova Disc Golf, while Brian Giggey is a sponsored player and a member of the Innova Ambassador team. As members of Disc Golf Course Designers and certified officials by the Professional Disc Golf Association, Explore Disc Golf aims to provide disc golf course design services for all scales of implementation from from 18 hole championship courses to 2-3 hole courses at private residences. Our course designs are currently being implemented at flagship Universities and ski resorts, as well as breweries, festival grounds, campgrounds, farms, conference centers, private residences and much more. No project is too big or too small, as our goal is to maximize the use of the client’s land and the exposure of disc golf to the general public through safe, challenging disc golf course design. Pairing the courses with disc golf education signage that provide beginner tips on each hole, and environmental education topics which explain that land the course sits on — Explore Disc Golf really does “turn the course into a classroom” for users of all ages and skill levels to enjoy. Our services include:

* Disc golf course design (Course design, site planning, consultation and installation)

* Disc golf course improvements (Environmental education, disc golf education, tee and course signage, business development, and art and lighting installations)

* Disc golf equipment rentals (Disc golf discs, disc golf baskets, The Mobile Disc Golf Experience)

* Disc golf merchandising (Screen printing, embroidery and online fulfillment for players, companies tournaments and leagues)

* The Mobile Disc Golf Experience (3 to 6 hole temporary course complete with signage, vending and free disc rentals)

It's been a EXTREMELY busy month for us here at Explore Disc Golf.

We are so PUMPED to be headed down to Martinsville, VA for Rooster Walk tomorrow. Van call is at 4:00am, and we start designing 6 holes of The Mobile Disc Golf Experience tomorrow evening.

Look at this lineup! We'll have Free Play all weekend long in addition to an Open Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, and a Putting Competition in the amphitheater on Sunday.
