We are delighted to share that our inaugural virtual application essay workshop will take place from August 2–22.

Over the course of this immersive three-week program, a cohort of just 10 students will be guided through the process of discovering their most authentic voice and shaping it into a compelling first draft of their college application essay.

Led by a veteran former admission dean from Amherst College, alongside an outstanding team of writing fellows from Harvard and Yale, students will gain a deeper understanding of how essays function within the holistic review process, and, more importantly, how they can truly shine through their own words.

We are delighted to share that the inaugural Liberal Arts Collegium summer program will take place at Keystone Academy Beijing from July 21–31, 2026.

Over the course of eleven days, a small cohort of intellectually curious high school students from across the country will have the opportunity to learn from two distinguished Amherst College professors: Professor Christopher Kingston (Economics) and Professor Catherine Sanderson (Psychology). Through immersive seminars, discussions, and mentorship, students will experience the spirit of a true liberal arts education.

We are also fortunate to be joined by an outstanding team of Amherst student mentors serving as teaching assistants: Tom Ye ’25, Amherst College's Class of 2025 Commencement Speaker, as well as Remy Xiao ’30, Tiantong Hu ’30, and Judy Wu ’30.

Together, our faculty and student mentors will create a vibrant intellectual community dedicated to curiosity, thoughtful inquiry, and meaningful conversation both inside and outside the classroom.
