In case you’re new here, welcome to Brooks!

We’re a woman-led, biodynamic winery in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, with a deep love for aromatic white wines (especially Riesling!), Pinot Noir, sustainability, and community. From our B Corp Certification and membership in 1% for the Planet to our partnership with Revino, caring for the land is at the heart of what we do.

Brooks was founded by Jimi Brooks in 1998. After his unexpected passing in 2004, a community of winemakers came together to finish his harvest, and his sister, Janie, stepped in to carry Brooks forward for Jimi’s young son, Pascal.

More than 25 years later, we’re proud of where we came from and even more excited about where we’re going. 🥂

Consider this your invitation to fall at Brooks. 🍂

We’re giving summer a proper sendoff with our Harvest & Garden Festival, then settling into fall with Chef Chauncey’s Fall Menu Cooking Class and gathering around the table for our Fall Equinox Supper.

September is also Legacy Month at Brooks, a time to celebrate our founder, Jimi Brooks, and the legacy that continues to shape who we are today. We’ll be honoring Jimi with the release of our 2024 Cahiers Pinot Noir, a wine named by his son, Pascal, in honor of his dad.

Some vineyards have a way of getting better with age, much like the man it is named after; Crannell is one of them. 🍷
Meet the 2024 Crannell Pinot Noir, made from own-rooted vines with plantings dating back to 1984. Fresh red fruit and orange citrus meet a touch of flint and baking spice, capturing the character of this refined, historic vineyard. The 2024 vintage has already earned an impressive 97 points from James Suckling.

If Crannell had a personality, it would spend weekends tackling DIY projects, show its love through acts of service, and keep classic rock playing in the background.

Join us for the 2024 Crannell Release Weekend on Saturday, August 29th & Sunday, August 30th! Enjoy a complimentary taste of the new release paired with a complimentary bite of Tillamook cheese, shallot, herb, and breadcrumb-stuffed mushroom caps, along with a meal for purchase.

Pinot Noir gets its own holiday, and we know a thing or two about celebrating it. 🍷

Pinot Noir has been part of the Brooks story from the beginning. From Jimi Brooks' original wines to the bottles we make today, our approach has remained rooted in letting the vineyard speak. We work with our Demeter-certified biodynamic Estate and remarkable vineyard sites throughout the Willamette Valley to craft Pinot Noir with bright acidity, balance, complexity, and a true sense of place.

Whether you're reaching for Rastaban, Janus, a single-vineyard bottling, or another Brooks favorite, today seems like a particularly good reason to pull the cork. Celebrate with us by tagging us () in your favorite picture enjoying Brooks Pinot Noir today! Happy International Pinot Noir Day. 🍇

Meet Tim, our Senior Sales and Operations Lead. 🍷

Tim's path to Brooks has taken him from Michigan to Austin's fine dining scene, where he worked as a sommelier, to vineyards across the Willamette Valley, gaining hands-on experience in every stage of the winemaking process, from pruning to bottling.

He landed at Brooks to reconnect with guests and share his knowledge, drawn by a shared commitment to sustainable land stewardship and, of course, fantastic Riesling. A self-described geology geek, he's happiest hiking the Pacific Northwest, quoting The Big Lebowski, or following creeks with his wife, Meredith, and their pup, Floyd. Stop by the tasting room to meet Tim!
