So my truck engine spun a bearing. Labor alone to fix it is $1,400. I took out a loan to put it back to stock height and fix the transmission. I still owe $3,487 on the loan, bank says my truck is worth $3,400 and will only loan $3,000 on it so I owe more than they say it's worth, way more than the bank will loan. So I'm on foot for awhile. Prayers I get a way to pay it off quickly and get a new one.

Went to Little Rock yesterday to renew my disabled hunting fishing license and get my sons. Another sharpener stopped by my clients a couple weeks ago. Some got them done by him, but 1 wasn't at work but the other person called and asked if he wanted his sharpened, he said yes thinking it was me. When I talked to him yesterday he said he wasn't half as happy as when I done them and was charged twice as much.
Another set of clients told him they didn't want anything and to not stop by again as they were extremely happy with the person who did their shears already (meaning me). They didn't need anything yesterday either but hearing their loyalty makes me feel better.

I enjoy sharpening shears, But the last couple days and especially today even more so. Since I was out of commission for awhile, I got behind. Went to Benton and Bryant, made it worth my while monetarily but even a few customers. They badly needed it and was even loyal though wasn't sure when I'd be back. A few let someone else sharpen shears for them but wasn't happy wants me to come back after new years. One even though I did one pair for a lady in the shop tried finding my card to ask me, before letting the other guy sharpen theirs. Apparently I impressed the shop that much

Also, if you need anything sharpened normally, call or message me. I'm local to all my clients, takes at most 1½ hours to get anywhere in my service area. I don't can't know you need something sharpened unless you call. Several times I go around checking on clients, they'll have had it done 2-3 weeks prior. I charge $10-15+ less than anyone else. Figure 3 pairs at $10 each versus $25+ each, that's a lot of money.
