I had to make to make sure to check out the local climbing gym before heading back home tomorrow.

Took a detour on the the way back to Dublin to see where my favorite artist liked to spend his time. Popped into his favorite pub to have a pint and I couldn’t help but think if the number of old gentlemen ever shared a drink with him or what stories they might have.

Currently waiting to get on a plane and trying to gather my thoughts. I worked my last shift at this week. I’ve spent 5 years of my life at this gym. I gave blood, sweat, tears, and broke my body for and at this place.

I’ve met so many wonderful people over the years and you’ve made what I do worth doing. Especially on the days where I didn’t want to.

I would never have been able to do the job that I do without my amazing staff both past and present. You will be sorely missed and you’ve all made a significant impact on my life. Probably more than you all know.

Thank you for keeping me young even when my body is telling me otherwise.

I’ll see you soon and I love you all very much. ❤️
