You’ve put too much into your story to not proofread at the end.

Finish strong.

We read your book BACK to FINISH to make sure we catch everything!

Otherwise it’s easy for even editors to get carried away with the story and miss what’s really there.

This is the part that needs to be meticulous. Invest in a good proofreader! It shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg, and it’s worth every penny!

We made a decision to stop letting fear control our lives, and we finally started LIVING.

Guess what? We still get scared!

We battle thoughts of what people might think or what terrible thing could happen if _____.

Turns out, you can be afraid and still do a lot of incredible things! And it sure beats not doing anything at all.

We’ve learned that the more you practice courage, the more you realize it’s the best way to live. Who’s with us?

Challenge: Do something that scares you today!

This year Kiersten decided to start online art school because #2020. {Shout out to for offering a GLOBAL online art mentorship!}

So often we stop creating for the sake of logic. We can’t justify spending that kind of time or money on something that brings us joy. But when we let only one part of our brain run rampant, we actually kill another part of us that needs to come out.

You can be creative in any field; never stop creating!

A year ago, we took an impromptu adventure that led us to our friend’s house. We all walked down to the beach for sunset and it was everything we needed. Connection. Nature. Fresh air. Spontaneity. Childlike joy.

“This is how life should be,” we told each other. For the first time in a long while, we weren’t bound to a schedule and it felt so free. We actually spent time with people we loved and were fully present.

This trip was confirmation that we needed to start our business, own our time, and be available for some of the most important moments in life.

The very next day, Christine put in her notice at work. We were taking a giant leap of faith toward building the life we were meant to live!

It's been a wild journey so far--and certainly nobody could've predicted what 2020 turned out to be, but we are LIVING.

Here's a challenge for the weekend: Soak in life's precious moments with people you love and DO the thing you know you were created to do! It's time to JUMP!

Apparently today is “National Slap Your Annoying Coworker Day” and we’re here for it!

We’ll be honest, our differences help make us the best duo! But sometimes… we have very different processes and it drives the other person up a wall!

For instance, Christine gets her best ideas in the morning, and Kiersten often has breakthroughs and vision at 2 AM! Christine usually likes to start with a clean outline and build it out gradually, while Kiersten likes to brainstorm on a whiteboard with a full firework show and then whittle it down to the most crucial elements. We’re usually on the same page, but our approaches vary.

Sometimes it’s frustrating, but we’d take this dynamic EVERY DAY over any other work environment.
