🕷️ That’s not lint. And you definitely don’t want it multiplying.
These are likely brown widow spider egg sacs. The fuzzy, spiky appearance is a telltale sign—and each sac averages about 130 eggs.
Finding one sac also means there’s likely a spider nearby, and it’s worth checking dark, undisturbed areas around the home: garages, patio furniture, storage areas, wood piles, eaves, and other cracks and crevices where spiders like to set up shop.
One tiny sac can mean a whole lot of tiny roommates. 🕷️😬
Tip: Don’t just knock down the web and call it a day. Effective spider control means addressing the egg sacs and the areas attracting spiders in the first place.
If your home is becoming a spider nursery, CURA can help evict the tenants.
