Long time, no see! We've been very busy—so busy, in fact, that The Gavel Group has produced a record-shattering SEVEN events in the past FOUR weeks!

That's more galas, more dinners, and more auctions than we've ever had in a single month, and we are SO grateful to our amazing parter charities for keeping us working nonstop!

In chronological order: Saint Agnes Men's Club, Family Services Association of Redlands, Hispanic 100, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Tilly's Life Center, Second Harvest Food Bank,
and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Orange County!

As always, The Gavel Group is so proud of the organizations with which we work, and are very lucky to have so many opportunities to help support children and families in our community!

Summer is the season of golf tournaments, and we just hit a double bogey! ⛳️ (Am I using that term correctly?)

Last month, The Stars & Stripes Children's Foundation celebrated its 26th year of supporting underprivileged and at-risk youth and their families with its annual five-day fishing and golf fundraiser in Cabo San Lucas! This year's beneficiaries included: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Miracles for Kids, Orangewood Foundation, Building Baja’s Future, Tilly’s Life Center, South Bay Community Services, Casa de Amparo, Cure Duchenne, Young Lives Redeemed.

And just last week, San Manuel Cares and Yaamava hosted a five day golf tournament of their own at not one, but TWO amazing local courses: Pelican Hill Golf Club and Monarch Beach Golf Links! The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, through their San Manuel Cares initiative, is dedicated to supporting San Bernardino and the surrounding community, as well as Indian Country nationwide. This year's beneficiaries included: Citrus Counseling Services, Lakota Waldorf School, Meals on Wheels Orange County, Radiant Futures, and Voices for Children.

These organizations ALWAYS score a Hole-in-One on our course, and we're very lucky to have so many opportunities to work with them both! 🏌️

It's April, which means it's time to SPRING into event season! 🐰

2023 kicked off with The Boys and Girls Clubs of East County, Cypress College, and The Boys and Girls Clubs of North County—all of whom have been working with us for at least A DECADE! Wow!! ⏰

We are extremely proud to have worked with these amazing charities for so long, and to have helped them further their missions of helping children and young adults grow and reach their educational goals! 📚✏️

Our second-to-last event of the year, Boys & Girls Oxnard, is always a favorite among our staff!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme help youth reach their fullest potential through a positive environment, lifelong learning, and quality programs dedicated to the arts, education, character and leadership development, health and recreation.

The Gavel Group works with several Boys & Girls Clubs throughout California, and believes very strongly in their mission to provide safe and fun places for kids to grow and thrive!

Last weekend, The Gavel Group went home, home on the range where we had a a hog-killin’ time raising money for Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Club!

BBTRC helps children, youth and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding lessons and other unique activities. Therapeutic riding is a dynamic way to improve balance, joint mobility, coordination, muscle tone and posture, and has even been shown to have a positive impact on people who suffer from anxiety and other mental health disorders!

The Gavel Group would like to congratulate former employee Zach Shallcross on becoming the new Bachelor! Zach is a long-time member of the Gavel Group family as his mother Megan is also a former Gavel employee, while his sister Sammy still works events for us. We're very excited to see which lucky lady Zach ends up with!
