Last week, Curt Pringle & Associates was honored to attend the 2026 Pomona Public Library Foundation Mayor’s Gala.

Lisa Estrada McGuire attended on behalf of CP&A and joined our partners at Trumark Homes, including Susan Lindquist, for an inspiring evening celebrating literacy, lifelong learning, and community collaboration.

The event highlighted the important role the Pomona Public Library plays in expanding educational opportunities and enriching the lives of Pomona residents.

The evening also honored Pomona native Victor Glover, a NASA astronaut and U.S. Navy captain. Although he was unable to attend, his aunts accepted the award on his behalf and shared how the Pomona Public Library helped spark his dream of becoming an astronaut.

Thank you to the Pomona Public Library Foundation for hosting a memorable event and for all you do to support the Pomona community.
CP&A is grateful to support organizations and partners working to strengthen communities across the region.

In this episode of Talking Issues, Curt Pringle sits down with former Congresswoman Mimi Walters and Jon Kostas to discuss the clinical trials underway of psychedelic compounds in medically supervised treatment for serious mental health and addiction issues. Jon shares his personal experience with alcohol addiction, the treatments he tried before enrolling in a clinical trial at NYU, and how supervised psilocybin treatment changed his relationship with alcohol. Mimi explains why this issue must be separated from recreational drug legalization, emphasizing strict medical oversight, FDA review, and controlled treatment settings. The conversation also covers research involving PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction, the potential impact for veterans, and the bipartisan work underway to prepare for prescription psychedelic therapies. Hear of the MASSIVE growth at the Port of Long Beach – Dr. Noel Hacegaba [Talking Issues #46]
In this episode of Talking Issues, Curt Pringle sits down with Dr. Noel Hacegaba, CEO of the Port of Long Beach, for a clear breakdown of how goods move from global shipping lanes to stores and homes across the United States. Dr. Hacegaba breaks down why the port matters to the national economy, including its role in 2.7 million jobs and the movement of about $300 billion in goods. He shares how the port reached 9.9 million TEUs in 2025, near a 10 million container milestone, and how “front loading” ahead of tariff changes helped drive a record year. You will also hear what caused the pandemic era ship backups, why moving more cargo by rail improves speed and reduces congestion, and how the port is investing $3.2 billion to build the world’s largest in port rail yard and cut ship to rail transfer time toward 24 hours. Dr. Hacegaba closes with the Port’s 2050 vision, green shipping corridors, and the progress already made since 2005, including cutting emissions by about 98 percent while cargo volumes rose about 44 percent.
