We’re excited to welcome Wendy Bucknum to the CP&A team!

Wendy brings decades of experience in public service, government relations, regional governance, and community advocacy, along with a strong understanding of the issues facing Orange County and Southern California.

Her experience includes 12 years on the Mission Viejo City Council, four years as a City Commissioner, and her current service as Mayor of Mission Viejo. She has also held leadership roles with S**G, OCCOG, and Orange County LAFCO, while bringing private sector experience working with developers and master-planned communities.

At CP&A, our work starts with understanding communities, building strong relationships, and bringing the right people to the table. Wendy’s experience across local government, regional agencies, the private sector, and community engagement aligns closely with that approach.

Wendy will support our clients on issues involving housing, infrastructure, legislative advocacy, entitlements, and community outreach, while strengthening CP&A’s ability to move important projects and initiatives forward.

Last week, Curt Pringle & Associates was honored to attend the 2026 Pomona Public Library Foundation Mayor’s Gala.

Lisa Estrada McGuire attended on behalf of CP&A and joined our partners at Trumark Homes, including Susan Lindquist, for an inspiring evening celebrating literacy, lifelong learning, and community collaboration.

The event highlighted the important role the Pomona Public Library plays in expanding educational opportunities and enriching the lives of Pomona residents.

The evening also honored Pomona native Victor Glover, a NASA astronaut and U.S. Navy captain. Although he was unable to attend, his aunts accepted the award on his behalf and shared how the Pomona Public Library helped spark his dream of becoming an astronaut.

Thank you to the Pomona Public Library Foundation for hosting a memorable event and for all you do to support the Pomona community.

Dr. Hacegaba breaks down why the port matters to the national economy, including its role in 2.7 million jobs and the movement of about $300 billion in goods. He shares how the port reached 9.9 million TEUs in 2025, near a 10 million container milestone, and how “front loading” ahead of tariff changes helped drive a record year. You will also hear what caused the pandemic era ship backups, why moving more cargo by rail improves speed and reduces congestion, and how the port is investing $3.2 billion to build the world’s largest in port rail yard and cut ship to rail transfer time toward 24 hours.
