HOW is my nephew a SENIOR!?😭 happy last first day, bud🥹🫶
From the moment we met, I knew this kid was going to change my life and I definitely didn’t realize how much! Being *Aunt Brooke* has been one of the best gifts the last nearly 18 years could have ever give me 😭
The years have flown as fast as these pictures - watching the progression & remembering meeting that tiny guy(moments before running to class to take an exam!!) & seeing who he has become brings instant tears to my eyes!😭 what a gift it’s been to love him, watch him grow, teach him things & build fun and silly traditions (like this one!) together!
It’s been an honor to see the life he’s building & the person he’s becoming - I can’t believe next year he’ll be off to college! 😭
I’m not sure if we’ll keep up this tradition any longer but for the last 13 years, it’s been the most fun way to celebrate the start of a new year and a new chapter! 😭 thank YOU to all all of you who love these every year! It’s been fun to share & do silly things like remembering to wear black leggings & stand on the same side & try to remember the spot etc. seriously, how lucky am I 😭
I’m feeling all the feels today and can’t believe I could still pick up this *kid😅* that was once a (not so tiny 8lb 11oz) baby! And more than that I can’t believe he’s rounding out his high school career this year! I can’t wait to see what’s next for him!!
