A man had arrived into town and decided to check up on an old friend. His friend had to run to a function but invited the man to join him. The Man was astonished at the frustrations and worries on face of his old friend as they caught up. The Friend offered to have him over after the meeting to meet his wife and kids. The whole ride home the friend filled him in on all of his struggles over the past few years. Just before the man could offer some empathy the friend said "We are Here" and turned off the car. The man watched as his friend climbed out of the car walked tiredly toward his front door and then stop. His friend set down his briefcase and what appeared to begin removing all sorts of invisible things and hanging it on the tree out front. When he finished, he turned and said "You coming." The man watched as his friend was tackled by two boys as he entered the door. Laughing, the friend fell to the floor and wrestled with his kids for 10 min before remembering his friend had come to visit. He introduced his wife and they sat down to a wonderful meal. They talked and laughed for hours. The man finally decided it was time for him to be leaving and asked his friend to drive him back to his car. As they drove away the man asked his friend "what was that dance you did with the tree before you went inside; it's like you were a new man after that." The friend smiled wide and said "that's my worry tree, I had it planted when we moved in; every night before I enter the house I hang all my worries of the day on that tree and leave them there, so that they don't follow me inside. In the morning I pick them back up, but often I find them to be a little lighter and some days they are gone completely." --
