This week, Chief White and Firefighter Lopez dedicated their time to expanding their knowledge and strengthening their skills through professional training while staying current with the latest NFPA standards.

We are proud to congratulate Firefighter Lopez on successfully earning his Firefighter I Certification and Chief White on completing the Incident Safety Officer certification. These accomplishments reflect their commitment to providing the highest level of service and safety to the citizens of the Smith Point community.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our partners in the grant program whose support helps make continuing education possible for small volunteer fire departments like ours. Your investment allows us to continue growing, learning, and serving our community more effectively.

It was also great to see so many agencies from across Chambers County training together, including

🚒🔥 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT SMITH POINT VFD! 🔥🚒

As we continue to grow and strengthen our department, Smith Point Volunteer Fire Department is proud to welcome two outstanding individuals to our team.

👨‍🚒 Thomas Lopez joins us as a Firefighter and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in safety. We are excited to have his expertise and dedication serving our community.

🚑👩‍🚒 Courtney Tipton is a familiar face to many throughout Chambers County. As an EMT with Chambers County EMS, Courtney brings valuable medical experience and will serve our department as both a Firefighter and Medical Responder. Her commitment to helping others makes her a tremendous asset to our team.
