As we move through the summer, we wanted to share our last round of larger events and welcome each of you to join us!

1. The annual Mountain View Street Fair
(the weather is supposed to be good so we will be outside with Music, entertainment, food, vendors, and fun)-we even have some awesome prizes to giveaway and raffles.This event is a celebration of all things Mountain View and community. everyone is welcome to come

2. The ancestor’s wildest dreams workshop.
We get asked all the time to help people learn more about their family and their lineage and their stories so we are excited to offer this workshop and efforts to help people feel connected to who they are in those that paved the way for them.

3. Inclusive Prosperity Summit
This event has been a labor of love with a long time coming. From entrepreneurs to nonprofit leaders and community members, we are all juggling a lot. Sometimes access to information, resources and support is scarce it doesn’t go to the communities who needed most. So we are hosting an event with dynamic speakers, networking, resources, and support for anyone interested.

The kids are hard at work creating a song as part of camp. Not only that they have written their own plays and poems AND even made a short film(15 kids total)💃🏾. Join them on Friday at 1:30pm at Umoja to watch their live performance thanks to our partners at Perseverance Theatre and Outta No Where Entertainment and more! Details to come, this is the beginning of something special for these future Ryan Cooglers, Issa Rae’s, Maya Angelou, Gordon Parks and more. These babies are the future so come support
