πŸŽ‰ We're thrilled to share a major step forward! Today, the Heart of Pasefika (H.O.P.) Institute of Language and Cultural Arts took a significant leap toward an official Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. πŸ›οΈ

πŸ‘ Following our initial meeting in July, today's meeting at the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center was a resounding success. A huge thank you to Director John MuΓ±oz, Juvenile Probation Officer 2 Sonny Sanitoa, and Juvenile Probation Officer I James Allen for their collaboration. πŸ™

After 6 months of Consulting and development services provided to the NaNative Samoan Corporationnd the Samoan Council Of Pastors & Elders (SCOPE) to officially establish the very first Pacific Islanders Institute in Alaska, today was the Official First Day of in-person Classes for the Pasefika Afterschool & Afterwork Program πŸ™Œ

Check out our Community Outreach Events happening at three Public Library πŸ“š Locations. Thank you to our Director of Programs, Ms. Maddy Unutoa for representing us at our two recent library community events. (Missing photos from Mt. View Library’s visit on Thursday, 08/14).

We’ll be back at the Muldoon Library next Friday, 08/22 for our final week of Community Outreach with the Anchorage Public Library 🀝
