Chugach Alaska Corporation was honored to host U.S. Rep. Jeff Hurd (R-Colo.) and his wife, Barbora, on August 19. Rep. Hurd chairs the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Indian and Insular Affairs and cosponsored our land exchange legislation, H.R. 3903, which passed the House earlier this year and now awaits action in the Senate. During his visit, we had a robust discussion about Alaska Native Corporations, our Chugach shareholders and employees, our federal policy priorities, and even some fun personal connections our employees and shareholders share with Colorado.
