Kodiak! Thank you for the warm welcome! Our team visited the Emerald Isle this week to photograph some of Alaska's incredible kelp and oyster farms and farmers.

Did you know? Alaska’s commercial kelp industry is young, but growing fast. Alaska’s first commercial kelp harvest was in 2017. Over 344,166 pounds were harvested in 2025, with strong growth projected for 2026 and beyond. There are more than 20 kelp farms in Alaska. Harvesting takes place each spring and early summer. Kelp farming supports coastal communities and contributes to ocean health by absorbing carbon and excess nutrients. Kodiak farmers have been on the leading edge of Alaska's kelp boom- thank you for hosting us!

Showcasing the best of Alaska's kelp and oyster industries, the trade show booth design showed off Alaska’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Designed to tell the story of place, the photo-heavy booth positioned Alaska Mariculture products as the premium choice—representing pristine waters, individual producers, and the commitment to quality seen across the entire industry.

Rising Tide partnered with to support expansion into more specialty grocers and customer touch points across the Pacific Northwest. The project began with a comprehensive visual brand audit, followed by the development of thoughtfully designed, category-specific sell sheets.

Our team focused on clarifying the information that matters most to industry audiences by organizing product data, pricing, and brand story into a clear, intuitive visual hierarchy. The resulting sell sheets balance function and brand, serving as practical sales tools while clearly expressing WMO’s values, quality, and presence in the marketplace.

Longtime Alaska non-profit Alaska Marine Conservation Council (AMCC) came to RTC with a brand new name that needed some very special branding. Newly named the Alaska Marine Community Coalition, the branding needed to reflect the organization's role in marine research and community-centered fisheries management. The visual system draws from the complexity of Alaska’s marine ecosystems while honoring the people, knowledge, and collaboration behind their stewardship.

A globe-inspired form expresses balance, continuity, and comprehensive care, reestablishing Alaska Marine Conservation Council's presence in the marine science landscape through simple, intentional design rooted in environment and connection to place.

Alaskans and their foodways are unique, and we were honored to create new nutrition education pieces honoring subsistence food traditions for Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium!

My Alaska Plate is a compelling, informative campaign that translated healthy eating guidelines into actionable, memorable messaging and visuals. Every element was thoughtfully designed to resonate with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium audience’s needs and resources, ensuring the campaign encouraged genuine engagement and enduring benefits.

Our team executed several photo shoots that yielded an image database that served as the foundation for short-form videos and ads designed to share practical ways to enhance dietary habits and overall health. The images were additionally adapted into a series of placemats and visual aids, giving providers effective tools to educate and guide their patients.

A crucial component of this work was the extensive curation and sourcing of foods that reflect local and indigenous culture and subsistence practices, ensuring the content is not only informative but also relevant, familiar and accessible.
