We provide these services from site analysis and conceptual design through construction documents and construction administration. We also have a number of special service areas where we have focused our efforts to develop niches: visual simulation, sustainable design, waterfront design, environmental restoration, interpretive design, scenery analysis and management, industrial design, public process and engagement, and facilitation. We have provided these services to a broad range of clients both public and private, as consultants within a team and as prime consultant. We place great emphasis on developing our client relationships as we fully understand that our clients come first, and are the key to our future. We bring a very high level of professionalism and enthusiasm to all of our work, and we look forward to teaming with you on your next project.

As part of our Bowman Elementary School playground renovation, we reached out again to the amazing Lucas Elliott to give us a hand. Because we needed durable gates for the Pre-K area, we had an opportunity to add some visual fun. We wanted the school mascot (Bobcat) in a fun school/playground scene, and Lucas delivered! We love collaborating with Lucas Elliott Art.

Our Bowman Elementary School playground renovation had its grand opening on August 15th. This included reorganizing areas and replacing equipment to create a separate Pre-K playground area, and replacing and enhancing existing equipment for ages 5-12, including retaining the existing large ramped composite play structure. The playgrounds now include solid rubber surfacing, with poured-in-place surfacing for the main ages 5-12 play area and tiles for a separate 5-12 swing area and the Pre-K play area. Many thanks to those involved. We're proud to support the Anchorage School District in their pursuit of inclusive play, and we are proud to lead the design of these play spaces and encourage the ongoing movement toward playgrounds that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We call it complete play. Northwest Playground Equipment Playworld Playcraft Systems No Fault Surfaces sofSURFACES Anchorage School District. Special thanks to Roger Hickel Contracting for taking this from bid documents to completion, and ASD staff for their dedication to our community.

Despite the rain, the City and Borough of Juneau Parks and Recreation hosted a ribbon-cutting and community BBQ for Sigoowu Yé (Fun Place) Park on Saturday. Over 50 people attended the event, and the neighborhood loves the new park and playground, which features a complete remodel of this forested pocket park. One parent stated, "It was well worth the wait, and we are so excited about our new park."

Corvus Design led public engagement and park planning and design; RESPEC provided engineering support; ExerPlay supplied and installed the play equipment and safety surfacing; and Admiralty Construction served as the general contractor. The wait is finally over; Sigoowu Yé (The Fun Place) park in Juneau is officially reopening!
Remember our summer 2023 park day celebration? Thanks to the incredible feedback and public input, we have transformed one of Juneau’s oldest playgrounds and favorite pocket parks into a modern, accessible space for everyone to enjoy! Check out the nostalgic old equipment in the background of our 2023 park planning day and the new park that was just completed this week. The treed park now includes new play structures and surfacing installed, improved pathways and inclusive design features, brightly colored landscaping and site furnishings (it's the Fun place) and park lighting to extend park use during our shorter days.

Corus Design led the public engagement and park planning and design, with RESPEC for providing the engineering support for this City and Borough of Juneau Juneau Parks & Recreation project. ExerPlay, Inc. supplied and installed the play equipment and safety surfacing, and Admiralty Construction was the general contractor.

Come celebrate the park reopening with a ribbon cutting and community BBQ on Saturday, August 29 from 12 to 2 p.m.
