September 29th is just 30 days away!

This is how THE Week is looking so far:

- Twice as many events, by this date, as last year! 25 events in the calendar; 12 more will be posted soon, 15 more are in the making

- AKEW is reaching out of State! :
Bose Entrepreneurship Week and AKEW are syncing! and they will be visiting us. Already 2 partnerships are in the making

- Some events will become recorded workshops and even stay available online. Those who can not attend will still be able to watch them.

-The whole entrepreneurial community has been involved:

-- By age: Junior Achievement Alaska will have one event... every day! AKEW will have participants from age 9 to age 99 (ish :-) )

-- By geography, AKEW will reach more rural Alaska than ever! the majority of the events are going virtual; anyone from anywhere can attend. We will have events in Rural Alaska (such as Kodiak) leading up to THE Week.

-- By role: from entrepreneurs to supporting organizations to investors to legislators are involved

-- By sector: the public sector, the private for-profit sector, and the nonprofit sector are involved

While taking this pic, someone walking by stopped.

First thing I asked was the usual "How is you day?".

He replied "Any day above ground is a good day".

Yep, he was a veteran and he has some friends there.

And we had a looong and interesting conversation.

After a few days with the machine down, we finally fixed it!!!

Just wanted to click that switch again and again and again to see everything working again, even the stirring function !

We are grateful for two things:

- all our customers for being okay with waiting a couple of days and for being more than happy to support a small business, especially in moments like this. THANKS!!!

- having a coffee company... because every roasted coffee bean around was brewed, and coffee was drank while trying to figure this out. Just with that, more than $18,000 ish was saved 😂

Time to celebrate with... good cup of coffee!
