Here we go again Small Business owners! BOI is back, yet again.

The injunction we celebrated in December has been lifted, and while there are multiple court cases and legislation that have been introduced to overturn the requirement, it is currently mandatory.

NEW: The U.S. Court of Appeals has reinstated the nationwide injunction that blocks the beneficial ownership information reporting requirement. are not currently required to adhere to this burdensome regulation in the Corporate Transparency Act.

Merry Christmas! Today I was hoping to concentrate on doing a heartfelt greeting, but unfortunately, I have yet another update on BOI filings.

The injunction on filing has been lifted, putting the burden back on businesses to file ASAP. They have extended the deadline. See the attached article for more information.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday granted a Justice Department motion to lift an injunction imposed by a district court ruling. Hours later, FinCEN announced, in light of the court decision, that the Jan. 1, 2025, reporting deadline was extended to Jan. 13 for most reporting companies.

This is great news!

A judge has blocked the filing requirement for BOI. While it is not permanent, this is certainly a step in the right direction.

If you have been like me and procrastinated on filing, you get a reprieve - at least until they have a final ruling.

Small Business Victory! found success in a recent lawsuit challenging the Corporate Transparency Act. The ruling issued a nationwide injunction against the onerous reporting requirements, making them unenforceable.

If you haven't already heard of BOI you need to read this!

While some of us are hoping that this newest intrusive display of Government overreach goes away, as it stands right now, reporting will be due by the end of the year.

As always, be careful who you give sensitive business and personal information to. There are less than reputable businesses offering to "save you the hassle" of doing this reporting. If they do it wrong or use your information to commit fraud - YOU will get stuck with the costs and potential legal fallout.

More about the jobs I am advertising. These are jobs that I am creating, so I have a lot of flexibility on what they look like. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

☕Pay is DOE, I am expecting starting wages to be $15-$20hr depending on how much training the candidate will need.
ALL of these positions have growth potential. From construction project management, basic bookkeeping skills, and even rental/property management.
☕ If you know someone that is looking for full-time work – please have them talk to me! There are a lot of opportunities within these companies.
☕I cannot make these 100% remote positions, but there is a lot of flexibility as long as in office hours are consistent. Eventually, some aspects of the jobs can be done remotely.
