I've done this. Over a 32 year practice, as a practitioner, as a Tradition Usui master, I've explored many time/space independent ideas, practices.

Better practice, pertinent to THIS life, to 'clear' first, to be effective in any past life work - in my mind (well hands too) - is to find the Source Wound{s) for you, for your clients - those places and events and memories still 'charged' ...that is, causing trauma, pain, rumination, suffering, weight on shoulders, aches in joints, heart.
Use your Second Degree Training teachniques and symbols to accomplish this meeting of then with now...repeat often.
You are weeding and re-seeding a garden that has grown, and continues to grow...and you, Dear Hearts are not only Keeper(s) of the garden - but many times, ARE the garden.
